What do you do about friendships or relationships that are one-sided and not being reciprocated?

if they're the ones being the simp, tell them to kill themselves.

>>33327779 (OP)Set boundaries for what you expect out of your interactions and stand by them.
>>33328022Ok good to know. My attraction to her has fallen as a result of this new piece of information.
>>33328155>sweaty armpits>My attraction to her has fallen as a resultYou do realise showers exist, don't you?
Oh wait. I forgot where we are.

>>33327779 (OP)Relationships are about their boundaries. No relationship can solve all your needs; expect to engage with and appreciate other people via some modalities and not others. Even if you have a very narrow way to connect with someone, if you accept that as the bound of the relationship and don't try to make it become a different kind of relationship when it shouldn't, then you can appreciate it for what it is.
I stop putting in effort altogether; compartmentalize it, throw it in the garbage and forget it. Tried to make something happen with coworker for example friendship-wise, but it was just me making all of the effort in the conversation so I stopped bothering or trying to follow up.
>>33327779 (OP)If a friendship or relationship is one-sided, then it is neither.
