I don't hate women but I am just so sick and tired of searching that I don't know if it's better to give up for some time. I have never been dealt so much mental pain as I did from breaking up and I hate that I love because I love too much and it's just not what women want anymore, they want you to treat them like shit or be completely submissive and let them do clear mistakes that break relationships such as "male friends". Your kindness is always going to be taken as weakness and will make your girl lose interest in you, manipulate you, take advantage of you, especially when you least expect it or when you're at a vulnerable point, all of it is stupid and temporary. I don't even know if I should open up to anybody anymore because I just don't know how will it end up in the future. While I long for intimacy and some temporary comfort (because it will never be permanent) I feel like it's better to not have a bad gut feeling 24/7 and to just jerk off so you can have a moment of clarity and losing interest. What the hell do I even do to recover from this. I'm genuinely afraid of women because they can be some of the cruelest beings on the planet, from most insane rejections to "I don't love you anymore" two years into your relationship. Is it all about hookups now?

Really anything can happen in your life and you can only control yourself. I know women who have been dealt several bad hands legitimately so and are just as fucked by men as men can be by women. We live in the apocalypse. If anything good happens to you, be thankful. Many good men will never be buried next to a faithful wife. Its just the way it is now.

Unironically yes
I dated a seemingly really nice women for three months and our chemistry was incredible right from the very first date, however after offering my commitment she dumped me. Her dating profile explicitly said searching for long term yet it was obviously bullshit, she just wanted me to rail her without commitment.
The only LTR's that work are ones where two parents stay together for the sake of the kids, I no longer beleive LTRs exist in any other way.

That wasnt a hookup. She just decided you chemistry was merely sexual, and you jumped the gun. You should have waited for her to ask you for your commitment. Not the other way around.

Just have unbreakable boundaries and be willing to walk anytime.
It's extremely rare for women to ever actually walk away in response. They will fake it but then come back later.

We shared a lot of common interests (many very niche)

Well in that case the only conclusion is that she was very immature and missed out on a good opportunity. The stars were not aligned.
