took out a 20k loan gambled and lost all of it. have no job can't afford to pay it back. does anyone know a way out of this? im thinking of filing bankruptcy or just changing the payment method to a new card and just letting it default on its own.

Being this stupid with money sounds like a skill. You should teach people how to ruin their lives.

Your life is fucked forever now you stupid greedy cunt you deserve it.
The way out of it is to get a decent paying job, budget, don't be this retarded with your money ever again, pay your debts off gradually and sensibly, and learn from your error.

Why don't you ask ChatGPT with further details based on your own circumstances and then we can discuss what it spits out

How about getting a job and paying what you owe?

If you don't have assets for them to seize then probably nothing will happen. You're actually better off ignoring any calls or letters than working with them. Your credit doesn't really matter because you're probably not close to buying a house and you shouldn't be buying anything else on loan/credit anyway. You're still a retard for doing this, but I have no sympathy for banks and credit card companies.

Could you get a job? Any job? The people you took the loan out with will quite likely be open to renegotiating the payment schedule.

If there is really no chance you could get *any* job (which I am dubious about - you can't sweep the street? become a cleaner? empty bins? stack supermarket shelves?) then filing for bankruptcy may be your best option, but it's not trivial: you won't be able to get *any* kind of loan, including a credit card, for the next 5-10 years, and you will lose almost everything you own.

There may be some slightly less drastic options like Debt Relief Orders (DROs) and so on, but they are all a serious business.

Way to be a stupid fucking idiot.
Get a job and pay off your debt like anyone else and rightfully suffer for your brain dead mistake that you hopefully dont make again.
