I want to kill myself but if I did nobody would be able to properly care for my dog so that's 10-12 years at most

If your dog is so important to you, I'd prioritize on giving it the best life possible.

If I had the money, I would love to somehow get an RV and do a cross-country road trip down places like route 66. Stop off at motels and get breakfast, pull over on the road at night and have a campfire, see the sights, play good music, and you could bring your dog with you. No real destination in mind, maybe make it your goal to go ocean to ocean, see all the states. You could even pull it off with a van if you stock up on emergency supplies, but you'd struggle with space.

I'd rather not waste my life and throw it away because if I did, my cat would be sad

All seriousness, there's a lot of people that care for you. Don't throw your life away without realizing that.

set up all kinds of biometrics and remote data collection on my dog so in the event it does die in only a year or two I don't have to wait a minute longer than I needed to

>there's a lot of people that care for you.
There's a lot of people that can be paid to counsel you, either triage in moments of crisis or longer term for payment. There's basically none that rise to the level of caring about you
