l created this character called Jack (pic rel) as the protagonist of a comic I am working on. I want him to experience suffering and trauma in the comic.

My current ideas are:

Having him get whipped

Having him get waterboarded

Having him be completely naked in front of loads of girls

What do you think of these ideas I have so far?

He's not ashamed of himself. And the girls will fall in love with him.

I personally suggest giving him child trauma like an negligent/abusive father or a mother who diddled him. Perhaps he lost his parents and ended up in the wrong home. He's being blackmailed. Secretly gay. Terminal illness. Aids. Secretly a sociopath who gets off of torturing people a la Johan. Perhaps he lost his genitals like juuzou.
