Well, now that everyone and their fucking god damn dog wants to get into IT, I can't find a fucking job. I have two years of professional experience, and have been unemployed for almost an entire god damn year because I can't fucking find anything.

Hundreds of applications, maybe 12 interviews, zero offers.

What the fuck do I do? What's a boring, uninteresting field of work I can switch over to that pays a decent wage and won't become obsolete by AI in the next few years?

Talk to people IRL, even if they can't lead you to a job, they might drop hints for improving your resume or knowing where to apply

Schools and government take absolutely forever to hire so normally people won't consider them, well, you seem to have plenty of time. Check them out.
An interesting benefit of working for a uni is often having summer off or having so little to do in the summer you may as well be off. Mixed with usually free tuition if you want the MSCS or MBA or whatever during night school (and you literally work there, so attending night school after work is convenient).
