I can cook and clean. My parents are both ill so I'm grateful my mother taught me when I was young. I don't expect anything really, even if I cooked, cleaned, and did what was expected of me I'd still feel bad living off of my husband and placing the burden of my livelihood on him if you know what I mean. Maybe I'm just naive. As soon as I get any opening for any job I plan to work, it's just really hard right now.

Then no I don't get what you mean. I wouldnt expect my future wife to earn money. If she wants to have a career, she better be making enough to cover paying someone to take care of the house and cook for us. Otherwise obviously I'm gonna take care of her. We each have a role to fulfill, that's how partnerships work.
