I play a lot of games and naturally watch streamers that play these games too. What keeps happening is I'll find an attractive woman that streams a game I like, enjoy watching her stream and she will get a bf or I'll find out she already has a bf and it just completely ruins the vibe of watching her stream. It's not like I was even planning on trying to get in a relationship with them because they'd live too far away (or probably wouldn't be into me) but it still makes me feel like shit every time it happens.

First time it happened was a league streamer called MissBaffy then a DBD streamer called AbolishEGirls and finally now OSRS streamer called Sapphiree. I mean with the last one I was drunk and was able to find out she had a bf within an hour of joining her stream so I didn't get too attached but it's still sad.

The problem also is that they talk about their boyfriend so often during stream it can't just be ignored. Like with male streamers such as Tyler1 who I used to watch all the time they barely talk about their girlfriend at all during stream at most he might mention her at the start of stream when talking about what he's done since he last streamed but with the women streamers I sort of get infatuated with they talk about their boyfriend so damn much.

Does anyone else have experience with this? I know I should probably just try to get my own gf off an app and focus on that instead but the matches I get are 1) usually less attractive and 2) don't already have a shared interest with so it's harder to talk to them. Also, IDK I think i'd rather stay single than 'settle' for a girl i'm not that attracted to compared to these streamers.

Maybe the specific genre of mental illness they're trying to appeal to is the "cuck" people.
OP really can't describe it as a problem if their business model is trying to appeal to a mental illness OP does not have.
I guess its a problem with their advertising/marketing if they're attracting viewers without that specific mental illness.
Other mental illnesses like the speed-runner to tranny pipeline or the Rust programming language to tranny pipeline don't seem to have this problem.

That's the thing - You should never compare a cute girl next door to a BPD e-girl, who probably stabbed her alcoholic ex with a knife, not that she would ever admit that on stream, of course
You need to leave your house more, because e-girls are clouding your judgment of real women (many such cases)
Also, don't use dating apps, many reasons, but the 2 main ones is that geeks do notoriously badly on them, and women worth dating just date trough their social networks instead of dumb apps where they just get bombarded by unsolicited dick picks

TLDR: Less internet, more real life shit

If you really want to date a streamer, you have to become a streamer and amass more followers than them. Otherwise you're just cucking yourself.

True... I will be moving somewhere more private soon so I might start streaming I only work about 20 hours per week currently anyway so no harm trying. Only problem is I'm male and not in the top 2% for any game so I doubt anyone would watch lol

You have to offer something that's better than a pair of tits on your screen. Otherwise forget it.

Consequences of parasocial activity, you are tricked into complacency by a false comforting fantasy, neglecting your own life, until suddenly the reality truck hits you, giving you an owie.

Similar shit happens with K-pop and celebs and shit, just more rampant nowadays with micro celebs and la di da every mid looking ass bitch gets their 5 minutes of crinkly fame

Sigh
Disgusting era

I think you should get better hobbies because you are pathetic and retarded and this not something a grown man should be posting
