My hair's about that length but blond. Doesn't make a difference because I live alone and don't interact with people. I think some girls like it but others don't. I don't think about it much anymore.

you can also have that early 2000s ponytail nerd aesthetic before all nerds everywhere adopted the incel haircut.
Hipsters love long hair as well.
You can go for the male hippy look.
Hell even normies started to adopt long hair like somehow 2/3 soccer players have that "modern haircut" of long hair except they buzz the sides and back.
