Paranoid about receiving a sexual harassment complaint. Do I need to seek consent before friending someone on social media?
Friend requested a former classmate on instagram and I can see she denied it. While mildly hurtful to my feelings, I’m pretty nonplussed. Was this a creepy thing to do? We’ve had several conversations before in person and didn’t detect any weirdness.

Is it weird to friend request someone out of the blue like that? Did I commit sexual harassment by doing this? Should I be concerned about a sexual harassment complaint?
