question for you guys

Ive been working from home these past 3 months and I just cannot get enough work done.
My coworkers get much more work done than me and I keep lagging behind.

I’ve bought new prescription blue light glasses. I have my screens on night mode all the time so my eyes won’t hurt and get me sleepy and tired way before I go to sleep.

But I still get tired and can’t focus as much on my work. I just stare at the screen and have to TRY to force my eyes to focus after a couple hours.

Any tips guys?

How is your seated posture? Have you tried other chairs, or trying to work while standing instead of sitting? What's the light level of the room you are in? And is the monitor facing opposite, inline, or perpendicular to a window?
Your eye strain might relate to having too much direct sunlight in the room you are trying to work in, or having no sunlight in it at all.
You shouldn't be using glasses to look at a monitor in most situations unless you're badly far-sighted, but will need a different prescription for screen use in that circumstance.

>eating right (vegetables, lean meats, not sugary/salty/crappy stuff)
>sleeping right (early enough to get 7, ideally 8+ hours of sleep, and having consistent times you both wake up and go to bed)
>spending too much time on social media, internet, etc. killing your attention span
there's more things that could be happening that are affecting your productivity, but try to examine some of the things above first

Are you depressed? That can kill it pretty quickly. Also, I can't stand being stuck somewhere that makes me bored. I'd rather be homeless than have my brain stuck in someone else's box.

I feel like these are all accurate

I might be depressed, I might not be eating enough or drinking enough water, and I checked my seating posture, it’s actually pretty bad

Gonn sit up right and maybe even stand a bit while working

That's your problem. You need to take *frequent* breaks. Work for 25 minutes, then stop, get up, walk around the room, move, stretch, keep doing that for five minutes, then sit down and carry on.
