Hello, so I have an interview for a new position tomorrow and I was wondering if It'd be acceptable to send the hiring manager an old letter of recommendation from a position I had applied to (but I was rejected) earlier this year. This letter has the name of a different manager as well as different position.
I tried to get an updated letter of recommendation from my professor for the new position I'm interviewing for, but I haven't heard anything from them. It's summer break and so they might not be checking their emails.
I did meet with the hiring manager yesterday and he said he was impressed with my resume. My current supervisor also put in a good word for me and was the one that landed me the interview. My interview is tomorrow. Between meeting the hiring manager and scheduling the interview, I only had about a days notice, which is why I was unprepared with an updated letter of recommendation. I should also note that I've been with the company for a while now and I'd be moving from the warehouse to an office.
Should I just not send them anything and just go for the interview?
