Is 25 old? I feel old. I feel like the best years of my life have passed me by. I still haven't gotten a degree, I have no marketable skills, no friends and I've never been in a relationship. Is it over for me?

It's usually the first time people consciously realize that they aren't 18 anymore, yes. Instead of asking yourself if you are old or not ask yourself how to not waste the rest of your life, starting today

I think that's it. Before I could excuse my lack of progress in life with "It's fine, I'm only in my early 20s". But now I can't say that. I am working on improving my life, but it's slow going.

If it makes you feel any better that's pretty a much a universal experience across all young people. It's very hard to admit to the fact or even conceptualize that you will not be young one day not too long from now

No, it's not. I'm really old and know it.
>I feel like the best years of my life have passed me by
Nothing could have been different.
Hope you understand. Perhaps you have to go to the dessert and learn.

>Is it over for me?
No. Now it's the begin of a lot of things that you don't know.

Go some brothel and let the girls teach you.

I'm also 25. I work in a well paid trade, have a variety of skills, have a few close friends and lots of buddies, I'm engaged and once I get my journeyman ticket I want to go to university to get a teaching degree. I'm no millionaire, everything I have I've done on my dime because my parents are white trash losers.

That being said, I've accomplished most of this in the past 5 years. If you start today you can be very well off by 30 and that's nothing to scoff at. Don't let what other people have accomplished stop you from reaching your own accomplishments. If you want it you'll get to making it happen.

With all due respect if you truly are "really old" aren't you then most likely out of touch?

Being old and being out of touch aren't mutually inclusive.

Gross. I find that type of thing really off putting. I don't want to have sex with randos.

Op, this is the state of most of the male population at the moment

I think it is in general "over" but it doesn't mean you can't have fun anymore.

You still have half your life left. You're going to have to live all that time as an old person.

Fwiw I got a gf and first high paying job at 26. Iโ€™ll say 25-30 is the age you realize you have to be serious. So whatever procrastination or excuses you should put that aside and start working towards something with intention. In another sense I think itโ€™s the age men truly start to grow up

If you had a fulfilling youth you would just be depressed that your best years are gone forever, it all returns to nothing in the end....

Won't ever forget when the 35 year old Chad at work came in looking all depressed talking about how his best years are behind him and how he has to be "responsible" now during break time. At the same time I saw a rich 50 year old partying it up in a club in some shithole country. I think the agepill comes for everyone eventually anyway. No matter who wins, everyone loses on a long enough timeline

>no degree
Only 37% of those aged 25 or older have a bachelors. If you managed to get one now in a good field that puts you ahead of a lot of people
>no marketable skills
Okay then develop some. At the very least you can join the military and get a MOS that allows you to develop some.
>no relationship
No relationship is pretty normal.
>no friends
honestly I am sure with time and some learning you could make friends. You just have to put yourself out there. Doesn't seem like you work or have education which is a normal place to make them. You could also make them in whatever hobby including online video games or some nerdy hobby.

Enjoy your youth while you're still young and beautiful.

What do you mean "the best years of my life have passed me by"? Your teens? Early 20s? For a lot of people, those years sure aren't the best years of their lives. Yes, you're carefree and have less responsibilities, but they're also very volatile, a time when you're trying to figure stuff out really.

It's not over, it never really is, and anyways you're still young. Besides, as you get older, things will have stability, and it'll all work out.

Kind of sort of this. You make your best years and you do it whenever you decide to do it. I was unaware that old guys even went to clubs until a friend of mine told me they go. Because I never go to them. But if that's his jam, then go for it.

I feel like 25 is too old for the military.

>Doesn't seem like you work or have education which is a normal place to make them.
People say this but it has not been my experience. I have a job and I'm going to college in the fall. In college people go to their class and then they leave, I hardly ever see people socializing and they definitely never talk to me. Maybe that's just becasue I go to a shit ass community college.

At work is no better. I'm working while I'm at work, I have shit to do I can't fucking chitchat. Also I have noting in common with my co workers. The only place I've ever met people that seem similar to me is on here. I'm a weirdo.

I am working on developing skills. I'm trying to learn to code, but I'm not as dedicated as I should be.

I kept having those thoughts and realized who gives a shit? I love games, model kits, etc and everyone who I watch and uses them are all my age or older. Genuinely who gives a shit, I still act 15 even though I'm 25.

>>parents are white trash losers.
My mother popped out 6 kids with 3 different fathers and refuses any accountability for her actions or impulses, my father was an addict who smoked, snorted or drank anything for a buzz and never made any effort to improve even when he lost his children.
That's about as white trash losery as it gets, so I strive every day to be better.

>This really shows your morals & personality. Real nice man
My friend, if you think you can get someones personality and morals out of 2 posts on 4chan I encourage you to keep an open mind when you're away from the screen, there's a lot more to people than what they tell you on your first interaction
