How do you get the discipline to stop being an alcoholic working a job you hate, and fix your life?

Alcoholism is a spiritual disease of nihilism.

I honestly donโ€™t even want to tell people anymore because I canโ€™t compete with societal programming but Jesus is the way out. Alcoholism is demonic oppression. Nobody here listens though and everyone thinks they know better. So just keep going about your life making mistakes.

>How do you get the discipline to:
>stop being an alcoholic
In economics, there is this thing called "Opportunity Cost" which means that for something to take place, most all others must be price and tribute. To add, worth itself is malleable.

What is that 'something' worth having alcohol be price and tribute? Your habit is, perhaps, a a telltale reflection that all other things in your life lay subordinate to it, that no other thing is superior โ€” and thus may be a symptom.

>working a job you hate
Perhaps it may be good to step back and be able to re-evaluate the circumstances. You could either tailor the experience to your liking, or leave for other prospects.

>fix your life
The minute and tiny details you could do something about which is either overlooked or you refuse to acknowledge may be worth trying.

There are professions and large scale systems built to address the small of details, and humbleness to stoop and effort it may open doors for you.

You have to accept boredom. Make accepting boredom your zen. Treat yourself like an experiment: will I actually grow to be a better person if I don't drink for an entire year?

Then after a year, you will know if it's worth it.

Start a journal where you record all the alcohol you drink and how much you spend. Consciousness is the first step.
