I've only cold approached a few women in my life, and it didn't go terrible, but I still have crippling anxiety and shame that prevents me from making my attraction clear. Alcohol doesn't really help because I just turn into a sloppy drunk.

Cold approach isn't natural. But it depends on your looks? Are good looking caucasian or latin guy with 6ft height?

The minute you cold approach a girl, she is in instant defense mode. Even if she finds you attractive, she might still reject you because she feels awkward and wants the interaction to end. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out, but it seems like a less effective way to talk to women than the most traditional ways which are: in a drinking environment, at work/school, or in DMs.

Cold approaching only happens in the school playground as a teen, hollywood movies, and cartoons and anime. The real world has very little tolerance for cold approachers. Whether that’s to cold approach for love, for sex, for selling jesus, for asking for pocket change, or for handing out a stupid pamphlet for some stupid business. No one enjoys being intercepted en route during shopping, walking, or eating or drinking.

Its not because you personally physical or otherwise is the problem. Its the abrupt and random approach from a fuckin stranger thats the problem. And you are a stranger who approaches people at seemingly random in the PoV of the public.

You’re most likely not a bad guy at all. Probably a very likeable one at your core. You just want to find love or companionship, thats perfectly fine. But cold approaching aint the way to go about it. Not just for the irritation it can cause others, but also for (you). If you get that 1% chance you find a receptive girl who accepted a proposition from a stranger, and you are that stranger, then watch out. Because it means you just bagged a girl who can’t say ‘no’ to strangers. Means 6 months to a year goes by, she ‘accidentally’ gets fucked by someone who aint you. Another stranger. And she will call it rape and you’ll get sucked into mentally ill shit.
