I have anxiety but not depression and here's how I describe it.
The most basic and straightforward tasks like
>Buying clothes
>Grabbing lunch (even with mates)
>Withdrawing cash
>Picking medication up from the pharmacy
>And even going for a bloody walk
become living nightmares all because your anxiety is telling you you'll get stabbed, raped and murdered on the spot if you do something slightly socially awkward. It's absolutely draining.
/adv/ users with depression but not anxiety, what's it like? I'd be interested to hear about what it's like on the other end.

i have depression and anxiety, i just got prescribed wellbutrin and buspar for it, and it hasnt really helped with depression at all but i think i am a litle less anxious, since im not panicking over death constantly.

depression is like pulling the curtains on life and looking at it for what it truly is without the smoke and mirrors of joy to blind you. we're all a bunch of walking talking self replicating rotting piles of flesh with no purpose other than to replicate infinitely.

logically consider what is the worst that can happen when you do do it and then accept it. it can only get better from there.
