Is there no escape from being a work slave?
I'm currently on hour 30 of no sleep with 5 hours left on the clock, still at the office.

Shit like building my own pension investments, passive income sources, etc...
I've reached a point where I NEED to learn about these things. I NEED some light at the end of the tunnel...

There is always a chance to escape. Taking action is one of the three required elements for it. The other two are talent and luck which are unfortunately not in your control. But you should try it because you never know. If you're already waging and dreading it there's not much to lose anyway and you can always go back and get a job again if it doesn't work out.
