Being an American actually makes me want to put a gun in my mouth when people say "we deserve how much everyone hates us."

I can't get away from the notion that everyone in this fucking country made the rest of the world hate us and I don't want to be lumped in with those people so it's clearly a wash. The only way out is to not play.
