So, would you rather live a life that is easy going with less being more, or a life that stresses you out with things being more and more complex as time goes on? Wouldn't it be easier to take simpler decisions knowing less is more?

I want to make my life as easy as possible and then use whatever power I have to invest in more power for fun as a game but ultimately accept that as far as I can tell fate is kinda out of my hands ultimately, but who knows, maybe people can become Gods in the future and control their own fates.

OP, I made that choice and have been happy with it. Through some hard graft at the beginning I established a reputation (as a WFH book editor) that pays enough for the lifestyle I enjoy and lets me "work easy." I know for a fact that I could make twice what I do in a 9-5 job, but I consider that an acceptable price to pay to not have to have a 9-5 job.

Isn't this the default? Even around the time you get rid of social drama snd figure out your circles it starts to dawn on you you haven't been saving for retirement and definitely should have been the last 15 or so yesrs.
