What constitutes interesting? I know I'm not for example, but I don't know what is. And there is no real clear cut opposite behaviour to mine.

I don't think what I like really says much about me because it's up to you to decide how much I like it. You like Newfoundland? I don't really think that much about the Canadian east coast. I meant the dog vs the people from there. The dog is drooly, but looks incredibly comfy. The island looks miserable and cold, so I assume anyone living there will probably be either that or very warm and welcoming.
I usually look for something in conversation that makes me realize a person has a soul, or at least has some degree of creative thought process. They like learning new things, talk about things that they feel strongly about, or are willing to just shoot the shit and ramble about whatever.
