It's just a different side of the human experience if I want to put it in a way that sort of makes sense to either sex. Maybe the lock and key metaphor. Princess waiting for adventurer-warriors who are suitable enough for rescuing her. The sort of loose outlook you can relate to others of the same sex you were assigned at birth varies a lot in itself too.

idk honestly its disgusting, I deleted all dating apps because men were creepy and desperately horny. Not even trying to get to know me or agree to a date. Straight to fucking. That scares me and probably why I’ll stay single until I die. I want to be seen as a human not a sex object.

It's only awful if you are a heartless cretin, or a gullible eternal victim. Both types tend to attract each other like flies around shit. So in that respect, dating can suck just as much for men as it does women. Just in different ways. But in both cases, both the witless immature and naive man or woman have this weird habit of dating trash. The poor little Ms. understood girl keeps walking into users and abusers when it's obvious to everyone else.

And the simp weak man who is crying for love, for some reason, keeps desiring sluts and whores who would happily ruin them if given the opportunity. Notice how many single forever alone guys on here who make 'tfw no gf' threads post OP pictures of narcissistic sluts in a selfie pose wearing next to nothing for easy attention. It's because these sappy men desire trash whores.

Just as many girls who complain about never finding Mr. Right will constantly romanticize absolute motherless asshole cretins.

Truth is, you have a choice whether or not your dating life sucks. Doesn't mean you deserve all the bad shit that happens to you. But it does mean to garner some wisdom and be responsible in who you give yourself to.

This happens to me Anon. I keep trying to be funny and/or edgy to get attention because otherwise I would feel invisible, how could I attract a quality partner that would be kind and loyal even though I'm ugly?
