Let me just say that I am fortunate to be in my current financial situation, and am mildly economically retarded.
I have ~280k current in a HYSA. I have ~500k in an inherited IRA (which I'll need to pay taxes on when I take everything out over the next ~7 years).
I am 31 making ~100k USD a year living in east bay california. I hate my job, and with my current health problems it's the only thing I can currently focus on (health routines after work will take 2-3 hours every day). I have no desire to have a family and would like to potentially retire living extremely frugally. My only hobbies include games, media, & reading.
Where would be the best place in the country to move in order to retire, and how should I invest my money with minimal risk so that I'm able to retire? I don't expect to live past 50 and living to 60 y/o is completely unimaginable to me. I'll need health insurance. Are there any other tricks I can do to make my money last as long as possible?
