i am 22 i have never been in a relationship, is it okay for me to look for a girlfriend when i don't have a car?
i feel very ashamed for even thinking about dating or women in general when i live in america and i don't have a car

i have a huge mental block that stops me from talking to women because even if i somehow

i take a woman somewhere, will we just take an uber? or the bus?
a lot of people 18-23 years old have gfs but most have a car, even if they don't have their own place it is fine but a car is a high requirement in relationships.
i am working on getting a car but that will be probably a few years from now

Get your license asap and start saving for a car, obviously

And try dating anyway. It'll make things more difficult and girls are very easily turned off by very minor things in the early stages, but fuck it. Do what you can. Don't just avoid women for 2yrs because you have no car. Even if you get rejected every single time you'll learn a thing or two.

I've had a string of failed "situationships" recently. They suck but I've learned so much about what to do and what red flags to look out for. And all the while living at home age 30 after a breakup last year.

Gets harder every generation to show a young woman a good time. You need a lot of cards in your favor to make spending time in the real world with you preferable to looking at their phones or televisions, so yeah, a car would be a good start.
