so I originally came to 4chan because I had a whole mental breakdown about nowhere wanting me, and so I figured here (who accepts anyone) would be a good shot.
Issue is, I now actually have many communities that love me for me, but I'm still here for some fucking reason, and it seems any time I come here, all I do is get sad because everyone is arguing everywhere. I'd LOVE to be able to just stick to sites like reddit with their hugbox-esque mentality, but I keep coming back here for god knows why. so I'm just here to ask; How do I leave?

Not for me. 4chan is a bit more honest. I can't stand a conversation with someone who lives in opposite day 24/7, it's literally fucking stressful and why I kind of have depression. It's also kind of the reason why I fear people fearing me because so many people live in this fucked up version of opposite day. You go on 4chan, hardly anyone lives life like it is opposite day. Yeah there are weirdos here, but at least they try to be a bit more honest than a community that is about as unpredictable as the stocks of Tesla.

At least on reddit you can see people's posting history and you can tell that someone one day was posting all "as a black man" and then the next day started posting "as a single mother", etc.

Living life in opposite day is being the guy who thinks being called a piece of shit is funny and cool, but when you get complimented you feel insulted. It is a world where Christian pastors who smile a lot are assumed to be pedophilles. That cops are murderers. Women who deal with guys buying them flowers a lot are assumed to be as troubled as rape victims. That if you are high class you are gay. And most of all if you are not a minority you are automatically an asshole, unless you're a hipster who calls everything in Republican society retarded. That and the fact that people there you have a sort of yes is no no is yes and if you mean the opposite of yes you meant yes but if you meant the same as yes you meant the opposite. A lot of confusing bullshit along with when I get trolled I have zero people to confide in when I do, because they usually take the troll's side because they tend to give this harrowing liberal stance on my opinion all the time, essentially being insultingly politically correct. Liberals I can get along with, but the moment they start acting vindictive and revenge seeking with no one questioning them, is when I have a problem. Reddit is full of that type. You get these people who start calling people insults and groups of people horrible and if you question it you are banned and never to seek the day of light there again. An extremely hive mindset. You only get accepted there if you talk like a liberal like everyone there, there is no freedom of speech. You go to their communities and all the posts that are different are outcasted while the same 5 posts or generically asked questions are repeated over and over again. You go on a car community trying to ask a question on an engine part your post gets a zero while the supposed car mechanic who is a liberal who starts talking about how bad gas prices were during Trump gets upvoted to oblivion. It truly is a website that is far left.
