I’ve been more uptight about sleep in recent years than I have in my youth…I took my fan a part yesterday in order to clean the dust off of it. It seems to be running fine, but now it is going way faster and louder. Had an Awful time getting sleep last night because I wasn’t used to the sound. Eventually I got abit used to it and it wasn’t really pissing me off. But the anxiety in my gut from the whole situation had me tossing and turning. Got somewhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours sleep.

Any advice on how to tone these things out? Or how to mentally get used to the sound of a new fan? I suppose I could use ear plugs but it really wasn’t that bad. It just fucked me up because I wasn’t used to it. I don’t want to just keep taking more pills..

How do I stop being so uptight about sleep? I’ve been sleeping in the same bed for Six years now. No vacations or crashing at friends place. I feel like if I was staying somewhere else I would be ending up in a similar situation… Tossing and Turning.

Always been the type to go to sleep late, but I never let little things bug me that hard. I’m in my early 30’s and Vacation and Sleeping on a homies couch were never a big deal to me when I was in my Teens / 20’s. How the FUCK do I get back to my old ways…?
