I'm not an autistic edgelord as I love my friends in life. But I don't feel that same affection towards my family. I used to look for validation and praise from my parents, but even then, I never get the same feeling of joy and happiness around them. I've always stated to hate my siblings and lately I'm being honest to myself in the sense that I accept that I simply am most happy when away from them. "You'll get it when they're dead", I just don't think so.

I'm the same. I went to a family birthday party yesterday and I hated it there. Barely talked to anyone.
