need job related advice

So my stepsister got a job for me, at a restaurant she works at, as a dishwasher, I could start tomorrow. As far as I heard, the conditions are horrid there. I don't know the pay and I don't know the hours.

At the same time, I sent out job applications to various stores to work there.

Should I gamble and hope that the stores answer me, or should I jump up on my sisters offer?

You should probably know the pay and hours first.

You should obviously find out what the pay and hours are at your sister's job first. Assuming they are acceptable, I would take it. If one of the other places hires you, quit at that point.

yeah, talked with my sister, I'll just wait until I get feedback from the stores, because I don't want to work as a dishwasher.

If you don't know the pay, it's minimum wage
If you don't have a job, take it and don't stop applying for other jobs, it may not be nice to the restaurant owner but basically you can stop any time you want

I won't read instant cure, desired object magically dropping in my lap threads. (hint: have long-term plan).

they say dishwasher but you will be doing much more than washing dishes.
Other than the fact that will be moving on your feet all the time it's not that bad (and anyway it's better than standing still on your feet all the time)

A job is better than no job, but don't stop applying or bettering your skills. You will not be a career dishwasher at a shit restaurant.
