Which happens more: getting treated like shit because people envy you or are you treated well for being good looking? People usually treat me really well or really poorly. I rarely encounter situations where it seems neutral.

The halo effect is a real thing. The only thing that would counteract it is seething jealousy or if you can’t hide your personality defects properly

Not OP but what are some personality defects one would need to hide or have a hard time hiding?
After looksmaxxing as a female, I’m told I look good but still have a hard time being treated like a normie bc I’m mute/awkward. It makes me wonder if any amount of pretty can make up for being ‘mute unless spoken to’ in most settings

Ppl might just be intimidaed, but generally just having good body language and not being worried about apearing as 'mute', not talking alot is fine just make it count when you do

It is well known in legal circles that a good looking defendant will get off lightly, especially women. If you are ugly you will face a grim future.
