Is there any beginner courses I can take that will teach me all about investing and their lingo?

I want to invest, hell I HAVE to invest, but I feel like I'm jumping into the deep end here.

I have an IBKR account but only just discovered that I can't trade in my local currency (I have to use USD)
AND there's a bunch of stuff like Sell Order, Buy Order, Minimum Sell, Ratios, etc. that I'm kinda lost on...

You don't have to know anything. Just put all of your money into VTSAX and you're done.

dont be a retard tradie
just pile money in every month. I do that with both stocks and crypto and I made more money that way than I did trying to be a smartass ''trader''
also you avoid tons of stress that way

I actually just plan on buying ETFs/Bonds and just sitting on them (buying more every quarter and compounding the interest), but I feel like there's a lot of basic stuff I just don't understand which could lead to a lot in expenses/losses

At least you're aware you know nothing. Just buy the same large ETF every month (>>33372627, VOO, VTI etc.). Never sell, not even if there's a big dip or a peak. Don't check on the value frequently, you'll see it when you're about to buy more anyway. You won't be able to keep emotion out of it at the beginning, but if you follow what I said you're not acting like a retard at least. You don't need to worry about selling (stop limits etc.) at all.

If you tell me what country you're in, how much money you have, how much you can invest monthly and what you're saving for, I could spoonfeed you some more.

the best thing to do when you start to panic if stuff starts dropping in price is to consider it a sale, not you losing money

why the people were sperging out over bitcoin dropping from 60k to 20k, I just bought more for cheap. Same for every drop

fuck I need to start buying stocks too

The market is heavily-manipulated. The best investment is always yourself, and try to move to a decent EU country.
You wonโ€™t do it though. You rather dream of getting rich with American stocks despite the fees, taxes, currency risk, and so on. You retard.

I actually plan on investing in Irish stocks.
I'm not a US citizen so US ETFs/stocks carry too many fees.

I bought in Gamestop during the meme craze for 300, lost like a hundred bucks, then put my remaining money in NVidia and now I'm at 400. I don't know anything about stocks either. I just said "eh I can live without this 300, whatever happens, happens."
