I'm a girl and I got banned permanently from crystal cafe for no reason, they can't even deign to explain. I have no idea what I wrote to get the ban, all I ever did was contribute to the discussion by bringing up alternative perspectives, I wasn't rude or anything. This, i have a female friend that is exactly like this, she have a bf who is also my friend.
She's not too sexual either, not interested.
And in fact, this caused problems for both of them.
From the moment he met her, he made up that he once had a girlfriend, that he lost his virginity when he was a teenager, and even made up some drama about how they broke up.
Something as innocent as a lie so he wouldn't come across as a virgin to her and other friends (me) ended up causing her serious insecurity issues in the long run, and when he revealed this year that he made it up, they had a huge fight that almost ended the relationship.
But now they're fine and they love each other.
