what happens if you have a cancer, say advanced (Stage III), or Leukemia, etc and you only take the bare minimum meds to not die?
does it hurt\cause pain less ,or, more, than chemo\ radiation\ blood tranfussions, surgeries, etc?
are there truly people in the USA, that slowly die of cancer, from even an early stage to terminal, because they can't pay healthcare?

It's not something you can say "I'll just take three pills a day because two is not enough to not die".
Do people in the US die for lack of affordable health care? Every fucking day, man. But hey, supporting Israel and making sure THEY have free health care is at least a bipartisan issue we can all agree on.

This is a very important decision to you because ultimately cancer is most likely lethal. I can only answer for what I would do. I would have surgery to remove the cancer with The best doctor I can find. I'm fortunate to be part of health care system that people fly across the world to attend to be treated. If you're able look into the Mayo clinic. After removal I would use ultrasound therapy. This can possibly convert the cystic tumor cancer breaking it up and shifting the tissue back to a state is able to be dealt with or integrated back into the body. If all else fails I would live my life to the best of my ability, love my family, my wife, children, and make the most of the time I have available. I'm not married or have children but this is a projection of what I would do if this happened.

I'm so sorry you're going through this I wish you the best of luck

If I was not clear, I would not use radiation therapy. The radiation therapy will turn you into a husk of your former self and you will lose the time to it which is the majority of your time left. There's so many factors at play but I'm talking about essentially terminal cancer or to the point that radiation therapy is heavily suggested for a portion of the body greater than the size of my hand.

Hospitals in the US are obligated to provide healthcare to anyone who shows up in medical distress even if they cannot pay, they send the person the invoice for the expenses in the mail afterwards though which can lead to bankruptcy. Medications however can be a different animal, there are some people who cannot afford their medications.

Not how this works. There's no such thing, you either commit to a full treatment, praying to God that it works or you might as well go looking into assisted suicide.
There's no in between.

At a certain point the "bare meds" ARE painkillers. That's what hospices are about.

That is simply not how cancer works, anon. Not remotely. Cancer consists of a hard lump of cells (a "tumour") that are constantly dividing uncontrollably to make a bigger and bigger tumour. After a little while, cancer cells begin to break away from the original tumour and travel through the body. Wherever they settle, a new tumour begins to grow, until your entire body is riddled with growing tumours. If one forms near a major nerve and presses on it, that is excruciatingly painful; if a tumour forms next to a blood vessel, it will end up squeezing the blood vessel shut, which means the organ that blood vessel supplies will fail and die. All kinds of other bad things happen depending on where the tumour is.

You can't stabilise cancer. Ultimately there are only two possible outcomes: you either remove or kill EVERY cancerous cell in the body, or cancer cells split off and start forming secondary tumours, and you die. If you don't treat the cancer aggressively enough to destroy it completely, it will kill you.
