Is giving up on yourself sadder than losing? I think it is, do you?

Eh, managing expectations. They come and go. Giving failure its seat at the table is a liberating feeling. It's hard to accept how you got where you are if you're not honest with yourself about your intentions.

I took the blackpill when I was 14 or 15 and I've been sidetracked ever since. Never again

Giving up is so much worse than losing. At least if you fail at something you can respect yourself for trying.

People who say this likely haven't sacrificed enough for something they ultimately failed at. You absolutely do not respect yourself in any way in that scenario. Trying isn't that impressive for people who are already serious about what they do

Define "giving up"? Some people just know some efforts aren't worth it and would rather focus on other things.
