There's a guy at work who likes to poke me at work. If I'm peeing at the urinal when he walks into the bathroom, he'll poke me in the back and make a noise. I usually don't react because I'll see him coming, but he always acts like he got me good. Sometimes if I'm sitting at my desk, he'll take a yardstick and touch my ear with it. I don't even jump when it happens, it just annoys me. And I turn around and see his stupid smile.

Would it make me a sociopath if he died and I was happy? Because I sometimes wish he would die in a car accident. I know that you don't deserve to die for doing what he does, but I'd just feel so relieved if I knew I'd never have to interact with him again.

I don't think he's evil, he just thinks I'm his little buddy that he likes to mess with. But I hate him.

Maybe tell him to stop? Like every time he does that, make him feel like a weirdo, ask him what the hell is he doing, raise your voice, tell him how annoying he is, and tell him to stop.
If he says he doesn't want to stop, make a scene. Get people's attention. Make him feel embarrassed.
Make it so every time he does this, he'll get a reaction that he doesn't want to deal with. Hopefully that way he stops.

And as silly as it sounds, if you really can't find a way to make him stop, maybe talk to someone above you about it? Above you in the work hierarchy, that is. Their job is to make sure you have good work conditions, and I'd say this dumbfuck is a huge interruption to your work.
