alright another one of these job threads.

how do i get a job if:
> 18f, just graduated
> no prior experience
> no car, can't drive
> have applied everywhere i can and gotten no interviews

my mom has a job lined up for me at her place of work but they won't take me unless i have experience in another place of the field, and those places require at least 6 months experience at a prior job to even get looked at it.

is there no hope for me, advicetards? i apply literally everywhere, i started doing commissions but i don't get much and i'm not ready to sell pics of my body yet

go to college, spam apply to local wagie jobs, put fake experience on resume.

if you need transport, get a credit card and buy a bike with ur credit card. that way you can tolerate biking a few miles if needed

no, my mom works 6 am to 5 pm every day so she can't carpool me anywhere. i don't mind walking up to 2 hours to a job but mom is against me having to walk longer than 40 minutes

A small convenience store. I was hired immediately. But not being able to drive would be an issue if your shift’s don’t align with your mom’s.

My youngest sister got really into music and now plays in the youth symphonies and such. She doesn't care for college and is probably going to end up teaching music at the high school and doing private lessons after graduating herself.

Job ads are wishlists, describing the perfect candidate. If that person shows up, they get hired. If not, the job goes to the best among those who do apply.

In practice, this means that any job that asks for up to 2 years experience WILL consider an impressive beginner.
