Is working out worth it? Is it worth feeling so sore after and having to dedicate a couple of hours a few times a week? I'm about to be 29 and seems I might better off just staying thin with abs and playing sports. I hardly have time for both.
I started working out years back because I thought it would help with girls, but it seems it barely helps compared to just going out and building social circles.
Idk, got any ideas? Maybe just sticking with pushups/pullups before showing every day?

Nah man I've been years at it and still feel sore after. I lift heavy, though.

of course, working out is worth it. the health benefits and added longevity, if you have other good habits, are compelling reasons alone. getting girls starts with being well yourself.

It's absolutely worth it. If you don't like going to the gym consider a team sport or anything that is fun that keeps you fit. It does wonders for your mental health but you would only realize it if you stop being active.

You probably aren't doing proper warm up sets or have a form problem. Feeling sore after years of lifting is not normal.

>going out and building social circles
it is extremely important. maybe the most important thing. life is about people.
do it now because it gets more and more difficult with age.
