I'm 26. Should I give it one more shot at self-improvement or accept that I'll always be a loser?

wrong mindset, NGMI. sorry.

fitness, training, education, etc. are not temporary things you force yourself to do for a while then quit once you reach an arbitrary milestone. they're a way of life

give it one more shot...scratch that...give yourself unlimited number of shots. you're never too old for self-improvement. When you get to 36, you're going to wish you started earlier.

Not for me. I've been doing nothing and regressing ever since I started working 7 years ago.
I also phrased it wrong in the OP. I meant life reset, not self-improvement. Basically, I want to quit my job, use the time and energy to work on my appearance, then, once I hate myself a little less, get qualifications for a different job, and ease myself back into the working process, while hopefully continuing these good habits.
