see bunch of onions
randomly clicking a few
not reading descriptions because im just messing around
click on bad link
immediately exit the browser
how screwed am i?

you will be fine, dont use a vpn instead use a bridge, but. Bottom line being this is not for you and there is nothing there worth your time, this part of the net has been mythologized and it sucks. Stay off and dont go back because once again its not for you.

If by "bad link" you mean the cheesiest of pizza's, you're probably fine. Shit happens, nobody is going to send the FBI over an accident. If you had an extended search history and/or collection maybe, but it sounds like you don't so just go to bed and don't worry about it.
