I have to take a photo for my ID card but I am affraid that I'll be stressed and anxious so I won't be able to have my head stay fixed when so required. Should I drink alcohol before to avoid anxiety or will it affect the way in which I'll look in the photo?

alcohol will make you look like a fool and runs the risk of having your license revoked. you should just make a big, wacky smile when it's your turn, even if you waited for hours in line, that way everytime you have to use your id, you will smile because you were making a funny smile in your photo, and people have to take it seriously because it's an official government document.

I made a funny face for mine. Every time I'd get carded, I'd get a chuckle. Eventually I ended up having to re-take my DL photo (suspended due to an unpaid ticket and reinstated) but they didn't let me make the funny face that time, they actually forced me to get back in line and retake the picture. Asshole DMV cunts.
