So I'm working a retail job right now until I find a better one. The issue is management breathes down my fucking neck, they call me for everything as if I'm the only non-cashier on my shift (so carryouts, returns, shopping carts, etc. are all done by me). I can't even take a fucking break, they expect me to do everything alone, even when it's a task that explicitly requires two people.

Is there any way I can report management without getting found out? I need the job until I can find a better one, but it's a fact that the place is understaffed. The work itself isn't demanding, it's how much of it is put on one person. We don't even have a janitor, they just expect whoever's on shift to clean up.

Should I just tell them that they have two choices; either double my pay, or put someone else on the shift with me so I'm not stretched thin?

this is fairly common in retail, the one most relightable floor person ends up doing a huge portion of the work.
also expect to be looked down on or be in trouble more than anyone else because whatever goes wrong is going to be your fault.
I have been that guy a few times.

There has to be some form of balance though. Can't expect people to work like slaves, just because you see them as below you. Kinda disgusting American mentality. But sure Americans has so many rights.

OP I would diffidently try ask for more. Double is a little too optimistic. That won't happen and you know it.

Good on you for actually realising that this isn't the end of the road and there's something better coming afterwards. You need breaks though, man, thats just exploitative of them to expect you to work through your break. You need to tell them, not ask them, that you are having your break. Not your problem if something needs to be done all of a sudden, you're on break, you are legally entitled to a break, if they can't deal with that then that's on management not you. It should not be a surprise that staff require breaks, this is basic shit. You not working makes them realise how much you really do around the place, without you there they sweat, and theyveealise how retarded the rest of their workforce is compared to you, so let them realise it and make them give you what you deserve.

Get out of retail. I work in retail. It sucks. They treat u like garbage for next to nothing pay. Just have an escape plan and work towards it awhile youre not working.

This is mostly true. I'm actually an incompetent retard and usually they'll let it slide when I'm a lot slower than everyone else, even though the culture of the job is to essentially burn out all their upper level managers from overwork
