/adv/ I've been in Korea/Japan for about 7 years as a white American, thanks to work. I speak the language, understand the culture and all that. Obviously I like it here but I do intend on returning home.
In the meantime I've dated several Japanese/Korean women. I've always figured it was just the individuals but I'm starting to think, maybe the reason I just never feel a full connection has to do with culture/language. It always feels like they just, don't get it. Bummer really. Anyway I'm now dating a Hafu, but still raised in Japan, same problems.
Should I just give up, and either go home or date white women here? It just seems so shallow dating people you can't really connect with
