i'm a dirty neet shut in and in general a sad sack of shit, but as time goes on i really start to notice how my younger brother goes down the same path.

he doesnt want to do shit, has no aspirations and just sleeps all day (not judging since i'm the same). i don't want him wailing in his own misery like me, is there any way to help him get in order?

Tell him flat and tell him hard.
Neets are neets because they entirely lack discipline.

Tell him your life sucks and he needs goals and to work toward them or he'll also be unhappy

Set a better example. He probably thinks it’s okay because you are doing the same thing.

Besides, no one is going to take advice from a hypocrite. First, remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye.
