I want to go to college.
I want nice things.
But I have to work to have any/both of these, and I hate being stressed out in any manner. Is it really better off for me to go to college then to just stay home and work a comfy part-time job at the most if I come from a poor family? just do bare minimum/nothing to get by? most other people in college had some sort of help from their parents while I have basically nothing so is it fair for me to also do nothing?

I also have like no strong background in my field like most other people who probably have years and years of projects written on Autocad or github.

is there really a point if I don't have this? am I basically already guaranteed to fail what I'm doing based on this alone?
