I’m 26 years old and live really far from the civilized world, like the U.S. or Europe. In my country, my income used to be considered upper-middle class or just below wealthy. Last year, I had 4 surgeries—one was on my head to remove a mole I scratched with a comb, and it turned into a benign cancerous tumor that had to be cut out. The other 3 were on my large intestine because of inflammation and pus buildup.*

So, have you ever dealt with losing all motivation to do anything in life after going through something really tough? And how did you get past it? I’ve noticed I haven’t worked in a whole year and still can’t bounce back after all this.

It is often when you think you have nothing that you found out just how much you have.
Take some time in as much solitude as you can find to reflect.
