The more inactive you are, the worse it will get, as the muscles that support the spine get more and more lazy. You need to get referred to your doctor, get a prescription for anti-inflammatories, painkillers, and a muscle relaxant, and get yourself MRI scanned so they can see what's going on. You probably need a new and better bed, mattress and pillow - a carefully chosen memory foam mattress is often a good choice. In the short term try both ibuprofen and paracetamol - alternate the two every two hours. Depending on what's going on, you may find either warmth or an ice pack helps.
It is likely that you have done permanent damage; but it is also likely that there are things they can do that will help somewhat - physiotherapy, that kind of thing. You won't know until you get scanned.
If you literally can't get up, then call someone for help before you piss yourself.
