Besides Reddit(psyop), 4chan(basket weaving), YouTube(jew), and X(itter), where can I get good information about addiction?
>inb4 books
I read books a lot. It's not very effective in practical applications.
If you know the YouTube channel on this, please let me know.

No wonder why you keep drinking after telling yourself to stop. The best sources of information are from former addicts. Join an AA group.

I got lucky to end my alcoholism. Was a binge alcoholic for 7 - 8 years straight. I haven't touched a single drop since October of 2018. Almost seven years clean after seven spent alcoholic.

What killed it for me was a middling dose of LSD, high dose of magic mushrooms. I am not advising or advocating drug use. Those drugs, psychedelics, are widely known to have a 60-70% cessation rate for alcoholism and nicotine addiction. Means a single dose has a strong chance of killing the addiction. No clue why or how, but for me, that's what happened. After tripping balls the days after I looked at my booze and thought "What the fuck have I been doing with myself?" Then the idea of drinking made me feel nauseous and disgusted. Poured out all the alcohol, haven't looked back since. I also stopped using psychedelics and weed shortly after. Nicotine addiction stayed though unfortunately.

Said so ironically. What I'm saying is, I can't get any good information from anywhere but 4chan. I do use these websites a lot. It's pretty grim.

Yeah I hear ya. People talk about all the lessons they learned giving up alcohol. But those are just words. Words won't help you give up an addiction. You probably already know that well.

All I can remind you is just make sure you are putting up a fight. Even if it's choosing sobriety for only a day or two. Keep fighting the good fight

Go to narcotics anonymous or AA
they literally have basic texts and pamphlets.

The fastest way to kill your addiction is to replace it with empathy from others / social support

You might be tempted to watch some retard Ted talk or even reading the basic texts on your own but this still is another way to isolate yourself.

This appears to be a drunkard/druggie form of howie-ism thread! Cool, in a vile way, but I still won't read it.
