Ive got friends in local bands and i see most of the shows they play. Often times people are doing other things and cant come out to shows, but i never do anything and am always able to go to them. I feel like i could be seen by them as a loser or something for never having anything else to do and seeing them no matter how small the concert is. Like id imagine them saying, "wow, no big surprise he came out" sarcastically.
I mean they have never said or done anything that could make me think this, but i still feel weird about it.
Am i being retarded or do i have a point?

I imagine they appreciate you and think you’re a good friend. Why would they make fun of you for being supportive?

don't worry soon you'll reach the phase where they'll start families, and then find excuses not to meet you and distance themselves from you, and the problem solves itself.

Different scene I would assume, but I have played in multiple jazz bands over the years. We had quite a few people who just showed up to everything - but quite a few of them were in the scene as well. It's a good way to meet others. I don't think you're a loser. That's how i met most of my current friends actually. Going to lots of shows. Idk. I guess theyd only think this if they didn't like me in the first place
