Why do men think being a therapy makes them a green flag?

Usually when people are in therapy, they're there for a reason, and not generally a good one. A man being in therapy would be more of a warning sign than anything else, and indicates how safe he is as a person, and likely be the kind of man you'd avoid for safety reasons.

Why do retards post on anonymous advice messageboards pretending to seek advice when they really want to just preach how heckin bad therapy is?

OP is a red flag for bitching about this.

ehh if something *IS* wrong with them, it proves they’re willing to reach out and not just suffer in silence. You don’t really want communication issues and it shows they probably will communicate instead of bottling up.

It's a green flag for the provider role only. Means they can keep providing and keeping everything steady. Just like how a wageslave who doesn't rock the boat is a green flag for the government and the pedophiles who run it

Eh, kind of a common misconception, since it depends on why people seek us out, and the nature of their condition. Some don't necessarily improve, per se, but instead prevent their condition from degrading any further as that's sometimes the best that can be done for them.

But again, it depends on what they're in therapy for. I've had DV abusers as patients, for example, and unfortunately men like that aren't very treatable.

Communication and the ability to verbalize thoughts and emotions is like the most meaningful skill in any relationship. Without it all else is fucking garbage.

i'm not a woman but i feel like therapy is a red flag because that's money that i can be spending on (her) oli pops and pre-cut fruit

my wife doesn't even like it when i look at girls too long i think that if i went to talk to a girl about my feelings and give her whatever therapy money costs she would have a conniption

>just see a male therapist
gay

i hope this helps!

it's been in vogue since the 2020s rolled in, and therapy and mental health practices are basically treated like another health trend these days
