I hate this shit I had them since forever and this is how they look with makeup on. But I heard lower blepharoplasty has a chance of vision loss , need to do more research but Google says it is rare. Can a med anon tell me their thonks?

Ugh I am so upset I can't even put on makeup and have fun with that

Low. But any oculoplastic surgery, hell any ophthalmic procedure carries a risk of blindness. Cataract surgery (which is INTRAocular surgery, not external like bleph) has a <1% chance of risk of blindness tho
More likely with blepharoplasty, it carries POSSIBLE risk of dry eye or incomplete closure, corneal scar, etc.
Me personally, I wouldn’t get any medically unnecessary surgeries, but that’s because I’m neurotic and have no risk tolerance.

You can probably just get botox/filler or something instead of full bleph anyway. Cheaper than bleph that your insurance won’t cover

How would it be corneal if it doesn't touch the cornea. I am similar but getting desperate. I mean isn't filler more dangerous?

Because bleph carries some small risk of lagophthalmos which is associated with exposure keratopathy.
>botox more dangerous
No. Not surgical. And don’t get it from some back alley esthetician.

I won't read threads by self-absorbed, subhuman morons who literally spend all day staring in the mirror and then wonder what's wrong with them.
