Just got employed for the first time at Maccas
For people who have worked in customer service or fast food, do you guys have any general advice which helped you do well (or get through it)?

Don't be a lazy bastard. Just showing up on time, putting in the effort, and not bitching up a storm will probably make you better than the majority of what they normally get. Not saying it'll get you some crazy pay raise or get your dick sucked, but you're generally better off being well regarded as a hard worker.

Seems like fast food jobs could actually be pretty comfy in a place like Australia. Here in the US fast food typically means dealing with niggers degenerates and entitled bastards.

remember that they need you more than you need them, do the bare minimum and you'll be ok

Do your job and do it well but don’t go beyond what is expected of you. Make sure to show up on time, don’t argue with customers (you will encounter retarded Karens eventually), help out your team (but ignore the lazy assholes), and just do a good job overall. When it’s time for your next job you can get your boss to write you a nice letter of recommendation for being a good worker

don't let coworkers disrespect you, nip that shit in the bud. once you're the scapegoat, or the butt of every joke it's forever until you quit

1. Do your job
2. Ignore the customer except to feed them the canned lines
3. Get out of the way of the dumbass stoner / nigger / airhead girl who works alongside you. Do not engage. Do not help. Do not point them out. Simply wait for someone else to make it their problem.
