Look up apartments in the area you're interested to get an idea of the living cost. See if you can afford at least 2-3 months of rent. If not, save up or look for another area. Look up job offers in that area to see if you'll be able to land anything there. Ideally you should get a job secured before you even move but if that's not possible then try get a job as soon as possible, literally anything to cover rent and basic expenses.
